CAA Global Education Conference

Please join us for the CAA Global Education Conference at VCU on Feb. 18-19, 2010. The conference aims to:
- Improve learning outcomes in international education by increasing student engagement;
- Encourage cooperation among international educators;
- Promote awareness of the important contributions of international education both within and beyond our institutions.
Presentations will include all areas of international education, including education abroad, international student services, faculty development, international admissions, and ESL instruction. All those involved in global education are invited to attend.

Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010: Welcome Reception, 5-7 pm
Friday, Feb. 19, 2010:
8-9 am: Registration/Coffee
9-9:30 am: Welcome
9:30-11:00 am: Plenary Session
11-11:30 am: Break
11:30 am - 1 pm: Sessions I, II and III
1-2 pm: Lunch
2-3:30 pm: Sessions IV, V, and VI
3:30-4 pm: Conclusions: Open Forum
4-6 pm: Closing Reception

Conference Registration:

Registration fee: $20 for CAA members / $40 for non-members
Fee includes opening and closing receptions, lunch and morning coffee.
You may also complete registration at VCU’s University Student Commons on Friday, February 19th from 8-9 am, in front of the Richmond Salons. Please bring exact change or a check made out to Colonial Academic Alliance.
